I went with the Falcons last week and they went on to win easily 31-17 and the game was never really in question.
The big upset last week was the Bucs topping the Packers for their first win of the season. I’m sure a decent amount of people took the Packers last week, so congrats for not and surviving.
This week has plenty of options. There are a couple of big name teams in easy matchups (Minnesota, New Orleans) and some lesser quality teams with nice matchups (Miami and Denver).
Now onto this week’s pick:
Teams already used:
Week 1: Seattle Seahawks: Win
Week 2: Green Bay Packers: Loss
Week 3: Baltimore Ravens: Win
Week 4: New York Giants Win
Week 5: Dallas Cowboys Win
Week 6: Pittsburgh Steelers Win
Week 7: Carolina Panthers Loss
Week 8: Chicago Bears Win
Week 9: Atlanta Falcons Win
The pick for week 10 is the Miami Dolphins.
The Buccaneers sprung the upset last week topping the Packers for the first win of the season. It was very nice, but don’t get your hopes up Bucs fans. It’s not happening again, at least not this week.
This week’s game will be played in Miami, not Tampa and unfortunately the Bucs will not be donning the creamsicle jerseys. The Dolphins also have some tape on Josh Freeman and will be bettered prepared to stop him.
One of the main reasons the Bucs won last week was becasue they pressured and sacked Aaron Rodgers. The Dolphins 0-line is a lot better than the Packers and the presence of the Wildcat will prevent the Bucs from blitzing as much.
Sitting at 3-5 the Dolphins need a win and they know it. They are better than their record indicates and they could have beaten the Patriots last week. A loos here would likely end their playoff dreams. In the end I see the Wildcat and the combo of Brown and Williams proving too much for the Bucs to handle.
Final Score: Dolphins 24 Buccaneers 13
In case you have used the Falcons here are some other teams I like this week:
Obviously the Saints and Vikings- They play the Rams and Lions respectively. That’s all you need to know.
Broncos over Redskins- The Broncos need a win after dropping two straight, and the ‘Skins will be without Portis.
Titans over Bills- If your feeling risky, I like the Titans. They have been a different ball club with Vince and they’re at home against a poor Buffalo team.
