It’s well known that NFL players love their bling. Some love it too much. Add Kendall Langford to that category.
The Miami Dolphins defensive end forget to take off his earrings before practice the other day and during practice lost one of his precious earnings. Now this normally wouldn’t be a big deal. But for Langford it was because the earring he lost is worth an estimated $50,000. That’s no chump change especially for a player who is only earning $470,000 this year.
The story doesn’t end there though. After practice, Langford and at least nine teammates scoured the field looking for the lost earring. Some players were on their hands and knees “crawling across the field” looking. Those are true teammates.
“I’ve got a great group of guys out here helping me – family-type guys,” Langford said.
Unfortunately, the search was called off due to a team meeting. That’s going to be one lucky groundskeeper who finds that earring.
