If your reading this then you didn’t listen to me last week and avoided picking the New England Patriots like half of America did. Even though they lost, I will still contend that they were the “right pick.” They were the home team playing a West-Coast team traveling East for a 1:00 start. Plus, they’re the freaking Patriots!!! If you can’t tell I’m still a little bitter. What makes it worse is that I’m a Jets fan so I couldn’t even enjoy the Patriots losing. Ok, moving on. Week 3 has a lot of intriguing candidates and I could easily pick three teams, but one sticks out more than the rest to me.
The survivor pool pick for Week 3 is the Dallas Cowboys.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are not a pushover, but you have to think they are going to come out flat after that deflating loss last week against the Giants. Also, did you see the Buccaneers attempt to play defense last week? Dez Braynt is going to make a lot of fantasy owners happy come Sunday.
Also I’m not putting too much stock into how the Cowboys played last week. We’ve seen it time and time again. Teams travel to Seattle and look like a completely different team. This week, the Cowboys are back at home and will look to put their Seattle distater behind them.
Final Score: Cowboys 30 Buccaneers 20
I also don’t have a problem if you pick the San Francisco 49ers (on the road though) or the New York Jets (also on the road and in the division).
Week 1: Philadelphia Eagles – Win
Week 2: New England Patriots – Loss
