Welcome to the new Cippin on Sports!
UPDATE 4/30: The site hasn’t been updated much lately but that is all going to change starting right now. I have returned from studying in Europe for a few months and going forward you can expect to see tons of new content daily. I hope your excited as I am! Read on below to see some of the new changes being implemented.
If you have been to the website in the past couple weeks or so you have noticed it looks a lot different. In this post I will attempt to explain to you the changes made at Cippin on Sports and the direction I am looking to go in the future.
The most obvious change is to the theme. I upgraded to a new theme (Black Sakura) and need to thank their people who did a great job in assisting me in installing and activating the theme.
The theme is very customizable (most of that will come later) and it comes with the WooThemes Tumblog plugin that creates Tumblr-like post types. Now I can easily post pictures, videos, quotes, links at ease. I have started to post a few of these and from here on out that is how the majority of the posting will be. There will still be an occasional longer type post, but not as much as you have come to expect.
The site will be more about curating content than creating content. In today’s world we’re all busy. We’re all in a rush. Not many of us have the time to site down and read a couple thousand word long article. We want our content quick and easy. That’s where I come in. At Cippin on Sports, I will search through all of the content out there and bring you the best of the best. You will see the best videos, pictures, quotes, and links from the web with an occasional original article.
I feel that this setup will be both beneficial to you and me and I hope you enjoy the new site. If you have any questions feel free to email me at chrismcipriano@gmail.com and keep coming back because there is still more to come.
Check Out My New Site: 2 Minute Drill
If you have noticed the sidebar recently, you would have seen that I launched a new site called 2 Minute Drill.
Its hosted a Tumblr and has a much different feel from Cippin on Sports. It’s still all NFL, all the time, but the format is different. It’s quick posts consisting of videos, quotes, links, photos, and more.
In today’s crazy world, not many people have the time to visit a site and spend their precious time reading in depth articles. That’s why I created 2 Minute Drill. You could stop by for a minute and caught up on all the latest news in the NFL. It’s perfect for any fan that’s in a rush or just wants to get all the information they want in one place.
As of now, it’s in addition to the site here, but I’m looking forward to merging the two sites in the future.
I’m still working and adjusting on the look of it and am open to any comments/suggestions you guys have about it.

Cippin on Sports Teams Up with Sports Blog Net
